Each guide lists its official sources and the date every fact was checked. Confirm current rates and terms with the official authority before acting.
GUIDE1. Find the denomination printed on the bond. Choose that amount in the checker before entering the serial. A six-digit serial can appear in different denomination pools. Selecting a different amount can answer a different question, even when the six digits are identical. If the amount is marked unavailable, its data has not been enabled for this release.
GUIDEBegin at the page heading. Match the denomination and draw date to the event you intended to inspect. A draw number and city are shown when provided by the source. If a source does not supply a value, the page should say so; a missing city is not permission to borrow one from another event.
GUIDEUse the schedule page as the starting point for the next event, and check the denomination before noting a date. A holder of one denomination should not expect every event on the calendar to check their bonds. For example, a draw in a different denomination is not a new checking opportunity for your saved list.
GUIDEStart by confirming the record: denomination, all six printed digits, draw date and prize tier. Open the official document linked on the draw page. If this site marks the list provisional or incomplete, that status is part of the answer. Keep your original bond and avoid sending a photograph to an unfamiliar person.
GUIDECreate a useful list by checking the printed denomination and serial, then choosing “Save on this device” beside the result. Each entry stores both fields. The same serial under another denomination remains a different entry; an exact duplicate is combined. Saving records what you entered, not an assertion that you own a winning bond.
GUIDEBegin with three separate figures: the published gross prize, the deduction applied by the paying authority and the amount actually received. A checker’s tier match does not establish your tax status or the amount that will reach your account. Keep the payment and deduction record together.
GUIDENational Savings has several product families. Its product page separates savings accounts, certificates, ordinary prize bonds and registered premium bonds, and also lists Islamic savings and term accounts. Begin with the full product name: two products can have different eligibility, access and payment rules even when both are described casually as savings.
GUIDEStart by writing the decision you are trying to make. You might need a place for money you could require soon, or be comparing products for a stated longer period. A product name or headline return does not tell you whether it meets that need. This guide provides a worksheet method, not a recommendation or a ranked list.
