Now let us share with you some of the features of this prize bond. These prize bonds were issued back in 2017 and the purpose of launching these bonds was to register and document the economy. These bonds were issued directly on the name of the investor instead of the other traditional bearer prize bond. The bearer prize bond as the name suggests were not linked to the investor who bought them at the first place rather they were the property of the person who holds them at the moment.
These premium prize bonds are available for investment for Pakistanis and overseas Pakistanis. There is no limit on the amount you invest in these bonds. These bonds are exempt from Zakat but are subjected to WHT. You can also transfer these bonds and premium prize bonds are pledge able as well.

There is one 1st prize for each series of 80,000,000 Rs. highest being offered by State Bank for any denomination, at 2nd place there are 3 prizes for each series with value of 30,000,000 for each winning number and at third prize value is 500,00 with 660 prizes in each series. As of last draw three series were sold from series “A” to series “C”
